Discontinued Blue Dragon Red Curry Paste

Why did they discontinue it? Amazon does have some, but I'd put a good bet on it they're out of date, and almost £30 for 6 jars!! They were absolutely delish and vegetarian, which is hard to find in thai curry pastes.
