Hospital staff car park fine from CP Plus

I received a fine from CP Plus, attached to my windscreen, at the hospital car park where I work in England. I require a permit and a scratch card to use the staff car park so I have already been "outed" as the recorded owner, keeper and driver of the car.

Please can someone advise: can I still use the templates to appeal my case given that CP Plus will know I am the keeper and driver of the vehicle?.

(Incidently, I received the fine for "obstruction". I parked alongside a car. Someone later parked alongside the *other side* of the same car blocking it - :T - in and we both then received parking tickets for obstructing the car which was by then in the middle of our two cars!)

Yes use the template - they DO NOT know that you were driving unless you tell them. Having a permit & scratch card doesn't mean you were 100% driving in that day (could have car shared and the other person was driving your car for some reason...etc.). Anyone with fully comp insurance can drive another person's car with their permission.

If you only have the windscreen ticket then the advice is to wait a month or so for the letter to arrive.

  • Great, hadn't thought of that!

Will not pay fine. Will not appeal. Will do nothing until I hear from them by post and then start the appeal process.

    Many thanks

BTW - it is NOT a fine. ;)
  • Also can you not just email a member of the exec team and get this cancelled (just make sure its not the owner of the car you blocked in!)

Doesn't always work when staff complain, we've seen loads like this. :)
