The Promoter is Emap Advertising Limited (EA) which publishes the Emap publications. These terms and conditions govern the promotion. Emap Advertising’s principal place of business is at Endeavour House, 189 Shaftsbury Avenue, London WC2H 8JG.
All entrants must be over 18 years of age at the date of entry and resident in the UK. The eligibility of any entrant is at the sole discretion of EA. Employees, families or agents of EA and/or any of its associated companies are not eligible to enter the promotion.
NO PURCHASE OF ANY SORT IS NECESSARY to enter the promotion.
EA may at its sole discretion, substitute any or all Prizes for a prize of a similar nature and/or comparable value.
EA accepts no responsibility or liability for any lost, damaged or incomplete entries and all such entries will be deemed invalid. Proof of entry shall not be proof of delivery or receipt. Only entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions will be acceptable. EA will not be liable if the prize cannot be taken by the Winner for any reason beyond the control of EA.
Proof of age may be required before prizes can be claimed. Before a prize is awarded, the winner may be required to sign a statement of eligibility and liability/publicity release. Prize winners may be required to take part in promotional activity at EA’s request and consents to their name, location and photograph being published for the purposes of this promotion and promoting EA and its business.
By entering the promotion, all entrants are deemed to accept these terms and conditions. EA may, at its sole discretion, change the dates of entry into the promotion and/or the dates on which the promotion will be promoted.
The terms and conditions of any third party supplier may apply and must be accepted and complied with by prize winners.
EA and/or its associated companies will keep details of all entries made on a database. By entering the promotion, entrants allow EA and its associated companies to use this information and to pass this information to other relevant third parties (such as prize fulfilment houses) to enable the processing of this promotion, to enable the fulfilment of prizes. Where an entrant has given the requisite consent, EA may share this information with other companies, in order that the entrant may be sent details of those companies' goods and services by email and/or SMS.
On submitting an entry, each entrant irrevocably and exclusively grants and assigns to EA with full title guarantee the entire copyright and all other rights of whatever nature in his/her entry for the full duration of such rights throughout the world.
Other than for death or personal injury arising from negligence of EA, so far as is permitted by law, EA hereby excludes all liability for any loss, damage, cost and expense, whether direct or indirect, howsoever caused in connection with the promotion or any aspect of prizes.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed and performed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall be the courts of exclusive jurisdiction.
The winner of this competition will be determined by a panel of judges based on the information entered by competition entrants. Their decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prize will be determined by EMAP Advertising and will be based on the winning competition entry following the judges decision. No alternative will be offered.
A shortlist will be picked on the 30th of each month, starting on the 30th June and ending on the 30st January 2008. The short list will be notified by phone or email by EMAP Advertising within 48 hours of the closing date and the winner chosen at random from those who reply within 48 hours of being notified. Winner MUST be available for their shopping experience within the following week of being notified.
The winners details are available to the public for 1 month after the closing date. A stamp address envelope should be sent to Rimmel winners, Account Management, Endeavour House, 189 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, WC2H 8JG.
