I bought some insurance a while ago thro Quidco and got £35 cashback which I was very pleased with.
Checking my quidco account today, another amount of £45 has been validated for exactly the same company, same date and time!
Have I got lucky here or could they still take it back after its been validated?

You could have got lucky in that they have made a mistake or that they have received higher payment from the Merchant due to the volume of business they have done (although £35 to £80 is a bit of a jump). Maybe it's both, it's gone up from £35 to £45 but they have paid an additional £45 instead of the difference...
Who's the Merchant?Not even wrong0 -
i bought a contents insurance through Quidco and instead of the £85 I was expecting I got 4 lots of £50, all for the same time and date, and all now validated within 12 hours... hm... £200 is obviously better than £85 but if it is manually adjusted so I only get £50 I won't be so happy!
edited - actually i can see why I might have only got £50, it said "£85 for home insurance" but I only got contents, not buildings... I think that is a bit cheeky though!0 -
same thing happened to me with morethan, they paid £50 then £65 then back to £50. both amounts have validated, they paid me the £50 and the £65 is still pending, but when i took out the policy the amount was £65. i don't want to to an enquiry in case they pay both amounts!0
