My partner who is out of work has just had a call from here https://www.linkedin.com/pub/cherry-hornsby/8/653/3a. At first he thought it was about a potential job but Im sceptical, she has emailed him a form to fill out asking several odd questions, eg his view on wealth, his view on having his own business etc. She said she had seen his CV online.
Has anyone any info on this, is it a scam please. Many thanks in advance for any advice.

The woman is a distributor for Forever Living which is a multi level marketing (MLM) company. MLM is a form of legalised pyramid selling. There's two ways to make money out of it:
1. You buy the products and sell them to friends, relatives, neighbours etc. This may involve delivering catalogues like with Kleeneze. After you receive the money for the products, the person who recruited you will take a cut of your profit.
2. Become a distributor yourself, recruit other people to do all the running around and take a cut of their profits. This is what the woman on the Linkedin page is doing.
Very few people make money out of MLM and you'll often have to pay a hefty lump sum (up to £200) upfront before you can start selling products or recruiting new distributors.
Send me £50 and I'll show you how to avoid getting caught out by scams like this. You can then sell my amazing product to other people. Of course I'll take a cut of your income.... No. only joking.0 -

Oh my word!! Please can I say you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about!! I AM involved with Forever and I have never posted brochures door to door. I do have a team of people who I support to build their own businesses. I DO NOT take one penny from their profits!! I earn my own profits from my own sales and get a monthly bonus for working with and coaching my team. This is paid directly from Forever and not a penny comes from anyone else's earnings.
It is not a get rich quick scheme and you are expected to put in time and effort as you would with any "job". I currently work this alongside my NHS nursing job and my income from Forever has enabled me to reduce to part time hours and very soon I will quit the NHS as my earnings are greater from Forever.
If you want to get something for nothing then this opportunity is NOT for you. You only become successful by helping others to become successful and that sits very well with me.
I would suggest people who may be interested in the Forever opportunity do their research and see if they think it will work for them. It is not suited to everyone but personally speaking it has absolutely changed mine and my children's lives. :T0 -
abbecer, don't you realise that you have described MLM to a tee in your own post?0
-
Yes I have described MLM as that is what it is. It is not a pyramid scheme as they have been illegal for 30 odd years. I don't get the point you are trying to make. Please explain what you have issue with?0
-
It's not a scam in the terms of a pyramid scheme but it is very over priced products.
