Unfortunately I cant say which lenders, it could be seen as leading and I could lose my license for that.

I would suggest speaking to your broker. Your broker if they do not know the answer should be asking for what evidence the lender needs and seeing if what you have/can provide satisfies that. If it doesnt, then its a case of moving on to the next lender.

Anything quirky, I dont think nationwide are any good at.

Doesn't answer the question as to the source?

Moving money between accounts proves nothing.

The OP is avoiding the key issue. Where did the funds originate from. Over £20k doesn't appear overnight in a bank account. There's a history behind the deposit(s).

if the money in India is from savings from UK earnings, I am sure statements can trial back to few years back which will prove source of deposit as savings?

If people can't provide the required evidence. Then normally there's a good reason behind it. So instead throw mud or blame the stupid rules instead. So easy to read the signs.
  • I did provide them the previous years savings that started building but they say they are too old
  • I have given them every single statement starting from 2009 to prove how did we build up the money neither they want to consider the old statements nor the latest statement Bcoz of too many departments and no proper knowledge of technical terms for the call centre agents I have no other choice except to give up der is nothing that I am hiding to show for people to talk about it..
  • How about going with first direct as I have a account with them since 10 years but do you think it's a great idea to go with them considering the current situation?but I have got my savings with them too...
