Hi tried these instead of my usual online butchers, don't bother, customer service rubbish, meat quality dubious, meat delivered nothing like is advertised on website, bad mistake that I will put down to experience.

That's strange, I've ordered from them a few times and the stuff I got was really good quality. I've not had any customer service problems either.

What part of the country are you from OP?


If anywhere near me, I can direct you to a great farm butchers who have fantastic meat at really good prices.

I ordered a package from them via a Gourmet Society Deal - an exotic meats hamper.


Everything that arrived as perfectly nice, but wasn't the high quality I was lead to expect. The burgers were OK, but to be fair the ostrich steaks were really nice.


I did speak to Customer Services as I also ordered 5 x 400g mince for £10 which was missing - they were really nice on the phone and sent the mince with a free chicken as an apology!


The mince is fine, but just Tesco average mince quality. The corn fed chicken wasn't all that.


Not sure I would order from them again, I don't think the quality warrants the usual price, but they do seem to have a lot of special offers.


It's a shame they don't do more British and organic meat really. I have used; http://www.laverstokepark.co.uk/
a lot. They aren't cheap but everything I have had has been amazing. (They sell a fair bit of stuff via Ocado and also Waitrose). Well worth a try.

My usual supplier is Meatpacks if you haven't tried them give them a go there customer service is great and their meat quality and taste is fantastic, they also have very good deals and butchers specials.
I tried Westin Gourmet as an extra supplier but I will stick to Meatpacks in the future.
If anyone knows of a really great online fish supplier please post.
