Oh man, I'm so sorry. Flipping Facebook and their silly folders, eh? Anyway, I heard Mexico was super lame in 2013- lots of rain, and natural disasters- you definitely dodged a bullet there!

This is why I'm not fond of FB/Twitter comps even though I'm an active (but dozy) user of both!

Oh God how awful! Yeah that's the spirit don't give up. Thanks for mentioning it as although I was aware that it existed, I just couldn't find it before. Now I've found it & also found a friend from FB who's a friend on here & I never knew they were both the same person.

Sorry about your bad luck, OP, but thanks for drawing this to my attention. I rarely access Facebook on my desktop - I always use the app and it doesn't seem to have the "other" tab.
I just checked and I had 34 messages in my "other" folder dating back to 2008!
Luckily none of them were important and I haven't missed out on anything by not checking them but I definitely will do from now on!

I can't access FB on a 'proper' computer either and only view on my phone. If you click on the top left hand thingy with the 3 horizontal lines, you'll get to choose 'Messages'. Scroll to the bottom and you can choose 'Others', 'Spam', etc from there.

Hi All - I knew about the "Other" inbox, but not the spam one so I have just gone and checked mine.......would you believe I have a message in there from 2nd July saying I had won a bouquet of flowers:eek:
Well I've just responded in the hope it is not too late, they may have given the prize to someone else...
Fingers crossed now as I wait for them to reply!

Sorry to bump this up but I only have the inbox and others folders on my fb.
Not a spam one. Anyone know why not?

When you click on your mail box icon purple_x (it should say 'Inbox' in bold) next to it (in a faded colour so eay to miss) there's another option that says 'Other' - this is the 'spam' folder. Hope it's there for you, if not then I'm befuddled sorry.

"Other" folder isn't the same as "Spam". If you click on your messages icon, you can only see "Inbox" and "Others", but at the bottom of the box there should be an option that says "See All". If you click on this and then click "More", you will then see folders marked Spam, Archive and Unread. xx
