sorry, forgot to mention something quite important.
there is another lender in the market who will lend to me but product fee and rate are considerably higher. i can definitely get funds from them, just wanted to know if it was worth pursuing natwest or writing it off and paying the extra0 -
Which lender is it? Have you had an agreement in principle from them?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I had an agreement in principle from the original lender, natwest, through the broker but then they're having a lot of trouble putting it through. It was this AiP that allowed me to make the successful offer on my property. i'm getting messed about and am convinced it is because they're trying to secure more borrowing than i'm going to be entitled to. have already paid this broker (yes, more fool me for not doing sufficient research and going for the recommended fee-free brokers on here) and have knocked back another offer from another broker in favour of this, hence the mess I'm in. Agent and vendor understandably getting frustrated and impatient as am I.0

Is the initial broker FCA regulated? although recognise that this is buy to let, it may be of use further down the line.
Conventionally, you should not get this mortgage with Natwest. This does not necessarily mean you will not, as obviously would be naïve to suggest otherwise.I am a Mortgage Broker
