Does anyone have any recommendations for anti chaffing pants? I have seen a couple of pairs on wiggle with reviews but i am always a bit dubious of reviews on buying websites? Just wondered if anyone had any recommendations?

If you just want a normal pair I've started wearing Sloggi (search for basic long). Really comfy and no problem with chaffing. I haven't done anything too strenuous in them though.Nil Illegitimi desperandum carborundum

An alternative is to use Bodyglide, which you can find on Amazon. It's a bigger version of those anti-blister sticks you can buy to ease the pain of new shoes, and it's made for precisely the purpose you describe.
I'm using it on my feet because I have a lot of new shoes and it's much cheaper in these big sticks.0 -
I bought some anti chafing shorts on ebay, worked really well and long lasting (I'm a plus size though).
PS don't mean to be rude, but you need too search for anti chafing, if you misspell when you search you may not find them0 -
Cheap knickers made from entirely synthetic material, not cotton. The seamless kind might work best, but the normal kind have always been fine for me.

Years ago I bought one of those "shaping" underwear things (like spanx, but a much cheaper brand) a size too large (as I don't think I need the "suck it all in" aspect) and that's worked really well for me.
I also bought some cheap short leggings from Amazon, they're OK, but a bit thick.
I keep meaning to try to cut the legs off a pair of pantyhose and just using the left over shorts. Not sure if it would work though. The cutoff legs might roll up and/or tear. I'm waiting for a pair of tights/hose to ladder so I don't have to sacrifice a good pair, except I wear them so seldom that I could be waiting a while!0 -

Thanks - Have looked at these but think i may get a little too warm in them.smileygill wrote: »An alternative is to use Bodyglide, which you can find on Amazon. Thanks - no offence taken. Maybe thats why not much is cropping in search engines. Can you remember what brand they were at all?

Hi,
I've been looking for something similar. I use shock absorber sports bras and I see that they make pants as well, but they are about £15 a pair, so I'm not sure about buying them!
I've bought a few pairs of "no VPL" plain black pants from M&S and so far they have been good, the fabric is quite breathable.
Happy hunting!

I can recommend these too they are very comfy esp in warm weather and they are a reasonable price, you can get them on eBay from approx£12.00 to £16.000 -

They were not branded, they may be too big for you though, I had a look and they fit a size 28+ (although now I'm a 26 and they still fit fine), and they only come in one size, sorry. I searched for anti chafing shorts and they came up.
PS they were not cheap but I've worn them a lot and washed several times and it looks like they were a good investment.0 -
Have a look on eBay at this item number, just type it into the search box

Is this the type of thing you are looking for?0
