Newbie advice please!!

Hi All,
I am relatively new to the comping world and have had a few successes which has given me the bug but I wanted to know what your best tips were to ensure I get the most of these boards?? I am currently sorting the comp board by oldest post and working my way through but I feel I am missing a lot of comps which end today etc? Also I am using the computer autofill option to help complete comp entry forms is this the best way?
