Hi,
I have a chargin order on my property with HSBS....they have offered me a reduced settlement figure...If I pay this, and sell the house, can they clain the rest back?

If they agree to accept the reduced amount in full and final settlement, and to remove the charge, no, provided of course that you are honest in answering any questions they asked about your means, and in a information you gave them.All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0

The lender won't. The remainder of the debt will be written off. This is a genuine offer. Which may well be advantageous to both you and the lender.0 -
