want to remortgage to borrow more

However, have just checked mine and oh 's credit file and his says poor, and has missed payments from a year ago. Since then he has paid all credit on time and has a loan with our bank lloyds. We want to remortgage with lloyds as it's our bank and offer a good rate. However, I am scared we'll fail credit check now. They only credit checked us both in the last few months,myself for a credit card to shift my other credit cards to am my oh fir a loan. Should we be ok?

You can only ask.
Check with your existing lender what products they will offer you so you've something to compare to. Remember also remortgaging can cost a fair amount of money so this needs to be factored in.0
