Checkout Smart

  • I've been using checkout smart for over a year. The offers are good, and lets face it we are spending in the supermarkets anyway so even a little back helps. Its quick and easy to use, the payments are paid out to you really quickly and easily.
And like someone else said it encourages you to try new things, especially if they are free.
We save it up for the christmas food shop. And to top it all off I recently won £250 in their monthly prize draw.
  • Checkoutsmart is fab. Saved a third on the cost of my weekly shop in one week with discounts and free products. Had to go to a couple of stores to get all the offers. Made an error on one of my receipt submissions so emailed customer services and they made contact and corrected the issue within minutes. Brilliant. Free stuff, discounts and good customer service. Ab fab!

To add to this conversation, I found there are a few apps that have the same offers. You can only use the receipt once for one of the apps; in effect, you may as well only use one of them.

    I use CheckoutSmart and Shopitize.

    A question for you all:
Do you all find there is a wide variety of products on offer - varying week from week or are they fairly much the same most weeks?
  • I have been using checkout smart now for 5 wld and so far so good, I had saved up £38.26 so thought that I would give it a go cashing the money out...they pay out every Thursday, so if you request the money on a Wednesday you get paid either into your PayPal account or bank account the next day, I cashed mine in on a Friday and on the Thursday I recieved the money..I hope this helps you?

I am uninstalling Checkoutsmart from my smartphone. It's taken me nearly 5 months to reach the minimum withdrawal amount (£20). Most of the rewards are for stuff I never buy (a lot of alcohol and brioche and yoghurt). On top of it, nearly every time I submitted a reward request, I only got credited £0.01 which means I had to contact customer services.
The only good thing about the app is that you don't have to scan the bar code, only the receipt, however having to email customer services and to check over and over again whether they have rectified the mistake, is just too time consuming.
I use Shopitize, which is much better for me: not only are the offers more relevant, but they don't !!!! up when adding the rewards to my balance.
Just my experience, others might be more lucky.

I found the problem with the £0.01 was the competition which gives one penny per entry. I stopped entering it and rarely now have problems
  • Earlier this week, I have bought on the same receipt, an item only on the Checkoutsmart app & an item only on the Clicksnap app. The items are no longer on the app, so getting new receipts from the shop won't work.

Will Checkoutsmart or Clicksnap accept a new claim, if the receipt has already been used to make one claim?

    Thanks
