PLEASE help!
I have an overdraft with the Halifax of £1600, this is now with a collection agency. They've offered me a settlement figure of £1400.
I seriously can't afford to pay that!! This is making me ill now as I'm so worried what will happen next!
Please can anyone help me to get this figure lowered?
Thankyou.

It might not be possible to get the figure lowered. You need to contact the Debt Collection Agency and agree a monthly repayment that you can afford, even if it is only £5.
