Wing > DRP ignored

Evening all,
Got the notice on windscreen and subsequently ignored the NTK. I probably even binned it as I was annoyed by their tactics, having previously ignored their yellow sticker (in line with appropriate advice a couple of years ago) which they came round and put on the very day the housing association provided permit expired (this was a blanket thing for all residents as they [L&Q] decided they were changing the colour of the permit on a particular day by which point residents was required to collect and display the new one). Again my permit had expired as the housing associations office inconveniently keep the same working hours as myself.
So needless to say I was unaware of the new advice and I'd like to know where to direct my first appeal. Following the FAQs on here I'm missing the parts pertaining to first contact at debt recovery stage so would appreciate some information.
Thanks

please read the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of the forum
there is a whole section on debt collectors in it0 -
The first thing to do is to ignore the DRP letters. See post 4 of the Newbies thread. They carry no weight.
However it should say somewhere who the PPC is that they are chasing the debt for. Would someone else not know. Then we could give you an idea of whether they are likely to do court. DRP cannot take you to court.
Since you have ignored this far, you might as well continue to ignore. Only if you get a LBCC/LBA should you take action. Then come back for serious advice.
Presumably you have the right to park in the place you did. If you look for posts by The Deep, he has suggestions for how to deal with the letting agents etc.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0 -

They are quite (un)popular but advice seems to surround speedier appeals. Though having read up and established collection agencies can be treated with the contempt they deserve, I'd just like confirmation that I can just deal with Wing in the regular fashion and appeal under the usual grounds.0

as you have mentioned in post #1 you ignored the NTK so I assume you are outside the 28 day appeal limit
so yes you can appeal to wing, and no they dont have to consider your appeal or give you a popla code
they could if they wanted to, but wont as they dont want to and there is no obligation on them to do so
a late appeal is just that , late , so they will tell you to talk to DRP, we will tell you to ignore DRP, so it goes around, in circles
whatever happens , do not ignore any LBC or court papers like an MCOL0 -
So there's no point appealing to Wing or is the appeal period irrelevant?0
-
always appeal to the PPC in case they take it further, keeping copies of your paperwork (should it go to court you need to be seen to have tried settling this, even by popla)
if they refuse you due to the time period, thats their problem0
