                    Hi All
Right here goes.
Looked at my credit file on Noodle (for free)
And one of the debts that was included on my bankruptcy is showing a first default date of the 7th October 2008. I was declared bankrupt on the 5th May 2009.
Now what I want to know is will this default automatically fall off my credit file on the 5th May 2015 (6 years after bankruptcy) or should it have already fallen off?
Keep getting told different things, so thought I would ask all the clever people on this site for an answer.
Thanks

It should fall off 6 years from the original default, so October 2014. Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Well only have to wait a few more months to see if this happens.

...to follow on, I have all my 'defaults' pre-dating my Petition...[including an infamous Arrow Global, who have defaulted a debt they purchased from MBNA, which itself was included in the BR.]...what is the likelihood of defaulted creditors-as-were, changing the default date prior to the present date expiring? [IE, at the very east, to the date-of-petition?}No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0

I had quite a few dated before. None of mine messed around with the default dates like that.
