Ebay business seller

LBM last week! Tremendous advice and support on this forum to get the ball rolling. Thank you all.

Received excellent advice from CAB + Business Debtline this week. All questions answered and all clear enough re BR and consequences on everything except for ebay. Going around in circles to get answers and hopefully someone can help or point me in the right direction.

I am a business seller on ebay (sole trader). Only source of income is ebay (all income declared to HMRC). Questions:

Will ebay allow me to trade following BR?
Can I keep the same user ID and ebay shop?
What happens to current listings ie stock (around 300 items which I paid around £1,500 for)?
I have Business Paypal account - should I have Personal account instead of or in addition?
If I am prevented from trading on ebay can I give the stock to my partner to sell or will the OR want this stock? (Questionable resale value in terms of a fast sale - it's all 'bits and pieces').
Etc!

First post so please be kind and sorry if I have put it in the wrong place or am out of order for asking these questions.

Took the bull by the horns and contacted both Ebay and Paypal. No problems in keeping either Paypal or Ebay accounts. I'm not VAT registered and just have basic Paypal business account so all pretty straightforward.

Will open personal Paypal account and other Ebay account just to be prudent but not necessary.

    HTH!

You would need to disclose the accounts to the OR, they then decide if they have any interest in them.

What kind of stuff do you sell and if you weren't selling them through eBay what would the stock be worth? I wouldn't advise trying to transfer the stock into someone else's name.
