Hi everyone.
I have a letter for £76.73.
I am in a position to pay this off in 2 parts. One this month and one next month.
I've just been online to set up a payment plan but on the account online it is showing that I owe £90.23.
Do they add charges on? I have only just got the letter today (letter dated 27th June).
Thank you.

Is the debt yours ? Have you asked for any proof ?
DCA`s don't normally add charges, and if they did, you certainly should not pay them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. It is mine yes. Its for the remainder of my phone contract. I have recently gone back into full time work but they can't reinstate the account so its gone to debt collection.0 -
Hi,
I have a similar thing with BC&W, the £76 quid will be for the line rental, the other £14 is BC&W charges as they are collecting on behalf of your phone provider...
Try giving them a call for a settlement figure, if it's anything like mine then they'll offer a 25% reduction on the combined total anyway
just ask for it in writing with the usual F&F bumpf
