SOA help

hello guys hope someone can help me
Ive read on here that your outgoings should be a fairly good match for income. otherwise if your income is too low they will not let you go BR as it will not solve your problems, and if too high you will get an IPO/A
well it is possible to tweak money for food, clothes, sundries, holidays etc. the problem is I started a new job this week at a lower pay (its medical redeployment and fewer hours) my DH estimates I will take home approx £933, whereas my average monthly salary for this year has been £1141 which is on my wage slips.
so what do we make the SOA (almost) agree with, my salary now or my new lower one?
please someone come in with an answer these forms are driving us nuts

You complete the forms with the salary you're on at the time of going BR.
Your SOA is what you're actually spending - it's not a good idea to "make it fit" as the OR can request proof if they think your figures are exaggerated.
The thing to remember it's an SOA to allow for reasonable living, not just surviving, and there will be things you don't think about paying that you can put on your SOA and remember it's about negotiating but be prepared to prove what you're spending. My fuel costs were high but when I showed the alternative by public transport they were fine with it.
