Help ...
My self and hubby took out a loan with these guys well cut a long story short he died an i have since paid off the loan in full now i know that we struggled at times with payments etc and got into arrears so we have been charged for things such as letters, telephone charge and a monthly arrears charge does anyone know if i can try and claim theses back
I complained about the building insurance charger they out on house and they have sent letter to say that they will give me that back. #
if anyone can help that would be great my hubby always did this kind of thing

If they had a charge placed on your property and the debt is now settled they should remove this charge and confirm to you in writing that this has been done. I believe that you can also then check with the land registry to ensure that this charge is definitely removed otherwise this will cause problems if you ever try and sell your house.

How do i know if theses charges are enforceable ??0

You might want to try posting on the reclaiming charges section of the forum or doing a search within that section for blemain to see if anyone else has queried this previously.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
