Theres energy companies kicking in doors cause a bills a month overdue, another poster on a different thread been taken to court for £200.
    The worlds gone mad !!!

The economy's on the up, so companies know that fewer and fewer people are genuinely struggling, and that it's worth their while being more insistent.

As we've seen with replies above, it's not generally a case of "can't pay" nowadays, it's "won't pay".

Ignoring them actually increases your bill, if you act before it goes to court there would be no warrant and locksmith costs. so very bad advice above
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Personally I think the energy ombudsman's about to hit the companies with something big. Organisations like EDF are probably trying to scrape as much out of every customer whilst they still can before the proverbial hits the fan and they need to change tactics.

I think it is dreadful if you are being chased for money when it is not overdue.
We all have arrangements in place to pay or be paid at a particular point.
    Times are hard for everybody.
Let us all hope our employers are not late in paying us.

Really? It may be the case in your world of the super intelligent, Oxford educated, Investment bankers.

I doubt the people who were on strike today would agree.
