So I normally log onto the forums to read about mortgages and other finance related posts. I came across the competition board last week and since then I have been entering all sorts of competitions - Even for things I don’t even need!!
I'm a 28 year old male yet still enter for perfume's and beauty products!!!!
Couple of questions - What are the rafflecopter competitions, are they the same as normal prize draws, except you don’t need to answer a question??
Best of luck to you all and here's hoping my first win is just around the corner!

Tell you what - people may start entering for everything and everything, but once they win something they don't want, they don't do it again lol
Someone on the board won a holiday (yesterday, I think) and hadn't read the terms and they can't go. Really, unless it's something you plan to sell or give as a present (and it's something that's not completely inappropriate to enter like a parents'/baby stuff competition), you won't want your 'win' to be for something you don't want.
It can be very addictiveGood luck!

That's the problem with some , they see it as a route to make some quick money
LOL when they realise they have to put in 3 hours a day to probably win a packet of crisps once a month, they'll give up
In the sellers' defence, I don't have a prob with people winning then selling. It is a moneysaving site. I was always very anti-selling until someone pointed that fact out, and someone else said they were trying to make pennies where they could. As I said above, I would have an issue with someone entering let alone winning say a pram when they don't have babies and flogging it. Certain comps are aimed at certain people which is fair enough. Most however are pretty vague/neutral and it wouldn't really matter if someone won then sold.

I only started a few weeks ago too, a friend pointed out a competition I should enter on here and I got hooked from that! I haven't entered for anything I haven't wanted though, and I'm not sure if I've put in enough time to actually win anything yet. Since I was always lurking looking at the competition threads, I thought it was time to make an account here.
From the Rafflecopter competitions I've entered, I'm pretty sure they're just the same as normal comps! I try to stick to Social comps though, I'm always a bit nervous about giving out my phone number and address straight away with some of the others.0 -

You usually have to follow the people running the competition on twitter, maybe re-tweet a message and/or like them on facebook etc. Sometimes they allow you to enter daily.0 -
