Sorry if I start to ramble. Seven years ago I got great advice from mse.
So here goes....I declared myself bankrupt in 2007, all went smoothly so I thought :-( up until now I have not heard a thing as I have since moved to roi and the insolvency crew in leeds were given my roi address.
When my parents visited at the weekend my mother mentioned they had received a letter ftom a debt collector addressed to my dad, n he must fone to find out more.
I instantly thought it is to do with me but I couldn't mention it cos my neither of my parents knew my situation.
In the meantime ive tried to obtain credit report but they need uk address which I don't have.
Can anyone advise if there is a way of me finding if an agency is chasing me ??? I declared everything when I filed for bankruptcy.

They might be looking for people with the same name as your dad so nothing to do with either him or you.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0

If you were made bankrupt in 2007, and you haven't incurred any other debts since you moved such as utility bills or equivalent, stop worrying.
If they think you're financially squeaky clean, you might be mistaken about your parents too
I'd leave it until they say something.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

I'd say nothing....let them bin the letter, or return-to-sender? If it was you the DCA were seeking, then you don't live there anymore.
But, remember, you are actually, financially, squeaky-clean.
After all, do you have any debts at all today?
BTW, BAnkruptcy covers all unsecured debt which originated pre-date-of-petition. [with certain noted exceptions]
Regardless of whether you mentioned them, or the OR was aware of the creditor.
A powerful legal tool for dealing with debt, BR differs in this respect from other forms of Insolvency [IVA, DRO, etc?]No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0

I would suggest this is a DCA that has bought a load of debts and is just testing the water, there ws a practice a good while back were they tried to get in touch with family members to get them to release details as part of tracing functions, but I'm sure this is banned now or not in the DCA guidelines they must follow.
 just ignore
