Which types of comp give the best chance?

I'm averaging maybe 5 hours a week comping and there always seems to be more comps coming in than I'm clearing. If I want to be picky any tips on which type of comps to skip?
Mag dailies? There are a lot of these and I haven't had any wins, I'm guessing dedicated comping sites know how to get more entries so less chance of winning?

mag dailies are odd - I used to win at least one a month & then they dried up for over a year & in the last 2 months I've had 4 decent wins.
Rafflecopters seem to have lowest entry rates but it really does depend on the prize, I've had little success from facebook this year but I've not done too badly on twitter . I've had most success though from book comps- I'm a complete bookwarom so these are ideal wins for meproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0 -
In answer to your your question "comp give the best chance? " I think it it really boils down to any that you enter offer the best chance.
Most are just pure chance.
Sensibly I would say that the best chance will come from effort comps & photo upload/vote comps.

People seem to win lots of different ways. If I was you I'd focus on comps for stuff you really want. Don't waste time doing 15 different tasks on a rafflecopter of a 99p box of chocolates.Make £10 per day-

Competitions with a low number of entries for the number of prizes on offer give the best chance of winning.
Bit on this thread about low entry ones.

I have won quite a lot in the last month or so on competitions geared towards my region only..
I'm guessing these have relatively low entries compared to the national entry competitions0 -
Do you reckon you stand more chance on Facebook and Twitter comps? A lot more people seem to be winning through social sites. I've entered countless email sign up comps but never won.. maybe I should start social?Stay Classy0

I've been lucky over the years with London wins - hotels, theatre, etc. Local ones/area specific ones are gonna have lower entries (eg won a nice hotel break in Winchester which obviously won't have as many entries).
Given up with the dailies now as I usually only enter a couple of times so don't really stand a chance.
Jx2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -

Damn it
you beat me to it0 -
Most wins by far have been form local Radio Stations ... Days out, meals in local restaurants, football tickets
Also local competitions in your area, Metro Centre is the one I always look for.0
