Tesco Bank!!!! HELP!!
We have applied for a loan in April with Tesco, signed the papers and forwarded bank statements, we received a phone call saying they had received it too late and the loan had expired, papers must have 'got lost in the post'. We applied again and forwarded bank statements again, we received a letter with them back on 18 June saying they would be in touch. Today rang to see what was happening to be told loan had expired again, they had records of the scanned statements, but no actual reason for the loan to be expired. We now have to apply yet again, with another credit search thrown in
and no offer of a guaranteed loan. This was to consolidate the overdraft to avoid Barclays rip off overdraft fees and credit card. Any ideas what to do now, if the credit check comes back with no because we already have 2 checks then we cannot go anywhere else!! Many thanks in advance for any help.

Before you go applying again, I would speak to them to find out exactly what they mean by 'the loan has expired' on the second occasion if they have received all your documents.0

They are unable to explain, other than the offer was for 30days, the statements were scanned on 18th June but no one did anything with them. We have now been offered £30 in vouchers!!!! It's cost us more than £100 in interest and Barclays rip off fees......0

Escalate your complaint with Tesco, they'll be able to do something about it. One thing I've noticed with Tesco, all it takes is one person in the call centre who actually cares, then they'll run around to get you what you deserve.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
