Wedding Dj Required - Sheffield - Recommendations PLEASE!!!!

Options
So we already have a live band perforing a couple of sets at our reception. However after having a few discussions with the H"B we have now decided that our budget can accomodate a DJ to play inbetween sets and to take us through till the end of the night (Originally we were just going to set an Ipod up through the POA System)
If anyone has any recommendations I would be SUPER grateful. The band we have are fantastic and I would hate for the entertainment to be let down by a crappy DJ.

Thanks in advance guys!

Everyone has a dark side... apparently mine is called Harold?!?

If you look on the Sheffield Forum under 'Interest Groups' there are people offering DJ services for weddings and making recommendations.

There's this site that allows you to enhter details and DJs can bid for the job, you get the chance to contact any who are available and interested, and they have ratings. Avoid the 'sixty quid sids' - if you pay peanuts, you'll get the monkey. A decent DJ will arrange to fully discuss your requirements, make sure they know what the venue will accommodate, and listen to what you want. Don't think that because you only want themk to pay in between the band it means you get it cheap - they will still have to set up (if using all their own gear/sound system) and be there for the duration, so you have to consider their total time. My hubby is a DJ so I know what goes into what may seem seem a fairly short time of actually working
  • This is our DJ - York-based but will travel so might be worth a look: http://www.nightowlsdiscos.co.uk/
