Use buyer 2 to get buyer 1 to up their offer and go with them. Drag your feet a little if necessary to make sure don't complete until Aug 31.0

Thus, to answer the original question: It is not a problem that buyer 2 is on a probation period (nqt year) but that they haven't started yet, it would be interesting to know if they do have any sort of current wage or what teaching course they are on; pgce, school direct or gtp. Buyer 1 seems much easier.0

Buyer 1 now may now have to pull out due to personal reasons (not sure what exactly) so looks like its back to Buyer 2.
Would buyer 2 be able to access a guarantor mortgage (not sure if these still exist?), it would be at 50 LTV. Waiting until buyer no2's wage comes in at end of Septemeber aint an issue for us as we haven't begun looking properly yet anyway.0 -
I've had my NQT year signed off this week- woo! Indeed, as a previous poster has said, this person may have had a bumper bursary to train- like 24k (only certain subjects, I might add). Don't hold it against them for being an NQT- teaching is a very secure job.
But maybe I'm biased!0
