PM's not sending?

Any idea why when I try to send a PM it doesn't show in my sent box, so I don't know if it's gone?

Is there some kind of setting I need to change?>

    It appears they are going, but not showing in sent folder

    User CP > Edit Options

    Then ensure the box against "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default" under Private Messaging is checked.
