Cleaning product recommendations

I am fed up buying cleaning products only to use them a couple of times and throw them down the drain because I can't stand the smell!
I would love to achieve that 'hotel' smell in my home so would appreciate hearing what cleaning products you use to achieve this. I don't like flash, Mr Muscle, Cif (although love the smell of their cream). I'm not that keen on Fabreeze either, can't say it keeps that lingering nice smell.
Suggestions please

I only ever use w u liquid, bleach, star drops and zoflora, that has a lovely smell.0

I am using up my stash of cleaning bottles.
I do clean sometimes with white vinegar or baking powder made into a paste.
Bleach down the toilets. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
Now I love the smell of flash. I also use Sainsburys lavender furniture polish and Zoflora because its cheap. The smell does not linger though.0

just lately ive used the cheapest bleach, cream cleaner and plain old vinegar to clean most things, and buy cheap body spray as a room fragrance ... ive also got a nice smelling oil burner from body shop that I use (when I remember).
I find that by keeping the house clean using cheap stuff, you don't need the strong smells to make it smell clean ... it just doeswading through the treacle of life!
debt 2016 = £21,000. debt 2021 = £0!!!!0 -
I clean everything with washing up liquid or white vinegar and bicarb, apart from the toilet where I use bleach. Cheap and everything comes up lovely and clean, especailly using an old toothbrush for hard to reach corners.
I don't worry too much about getting a smell to linger - I'm not willing to spend money on air freshener but plenty of people do.0 -
I can't stand air fresh things (not good for chests) I like to open the windows, but in the winter when the heating is on I put a few drops of olbas oil or zofloa in a little water in a small pot/glass and sit it on the radiator so when it warms up it smells lovely.
As for cleaning - well sorry but only when I have to and bleach down the lavvy at night works for me.
I miss stardrops no where sell it near me - boo.
