Sorry to those that asked for the Friday code yesterday. I had a disaster with electricity so no wi-fi They had to dig up the road outside. Just on again now!!!!!

Not impressed with Argos setup for this offer. Went in yesterday with 4 tokens ( 1 at 750 and 3 at 1000 points ) - looking to buy something for £19.99.

Despite the T&Cs saying " Change will not be given if the value of your purchase is less than the value of your Collection Code " ( which I was perfectly happy to accept ) the cashier was initially not going to accept my tokens because they said the till wouldnt accept tokens more than the value of the purchase.
Had to go away to speak to a supervisor , and they then spent what seemed like 10 minutes bashing away at the till - trying various things and cancelling them , issuing and redeeming new gift tokens , before they eventually accepted my purchase.

So if anyone tells you need to spend more than the voucher value - point to the T&Cs and insist that it can be done !

Simplest way I've seen is for them to refund the difference to a gift card and then donate it to charity.
