Surprised not to get the bonus points after I entered my code for today.
The 50 bonus points for 5 numbers in a week has been stopped from this week for the whole of the UK ( after being stopped in Scotland a few months ago )
From the FAQs at the mymail site :
"
The 50 bonus Mail Points was a promotion we ran to give an additional incentive to our readers to enter as many Unique Numbers as possible. This promotion is not currently running but we have lots of other great offers and we will soon be introducing more exciting ways you can earn Mail Points.

Yes I only found out today by accident. I usually get my 50 point bonus on a Wednesday. When I didn't see it, I thought I'd missed entering the numbers on one of the days previous.
When I found I hadn't, I phoned them up and I got pretty much the standard message you got.
I am not very pleased by the answer.
I have actually written back to them, this is what I have said:
The sums are not in favour of the customer.
Let’s take the Tesco gift cards as an example.
For a £5 card you need 2000 points, for a £25 card you need 9500 points.
When this scheme was first launched in 2012, you only had to save 6800 to achieve the target for a £25 card! The Daily Mail, overnight, increased the required number of points by a whopping 2700 points! That represents a 39.7% increase when inflation was running, I think at the time, at 2% or less!
If that wasn’t a reason to re-evaluate the worth of this scheme then I don’t know what was and maybe I should have done, but I persevered with it because I enjoyed reading the paper.
It makes sense, to me any way to hold out for the £25 card by saving 9500 points. If I went for £25 worth of £5 cards, (i.e. 5 lots of 2000 points) ,I would need to save 10,000 points. That’s 500 points more than if I’d waited which represents nearly another 2 weeks to save the extra points. The maths are easy.
For me to save 9500 points now, subsequent to the very mean withdrawal of the bonus scheme, it would take 31.7 weeks, whereas prior to the withdrawal, it would have been 29.2 weeks.
This extra time in money represents just under £8.00 in newspaper costs.
Looking at the maths, one has to judge whether it is worth me getting up and making the trip down to the newsagent to buy this paper every single day, i.e. Monday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday, especially in this day and age when it is far easier to read the news on line on smart phone, tablet and computer.
Whoever is making these very rash decisions at the Daily Mail really needs to think about what they are doing. There are very good newspapers out there now that are less than half the price of the Daily Mail. I have to say I am not enjoying the Mail as much as I did. The changes in the Mail Rewards scheme are not helping things. Please tell them they are, as far I am concerned, going too far.
This may seem like a rant. Many will say - well you are getting a newspaper and the points are a bonus. I don't see it entirely that way. I buy the Mail mainly because I can't afford the Telegraph everyday and I wouldn't be seen dead with my head in the likes of The Sun!
Things are changing. The new daily newspaper, (The New Day I think it is called),that has recently been launched is a no frills largely unbiased read which is actually full of news and sport. The Mail is descending into gutter tabloidism and is becoming more miserable than Eastenders lately. Every other day it seems they feature the Royal Family and I just chuck the calendars away! Some of the campaigns they run I find disagreeable too and they seem to have a penchant for absolute hypocrisy. Take for instance the Ban The Bags campaign. Everybody in the UK is now being charged 5p plus for plastic carrier bags at supermarkets etc. these bags came in useful as small bin liners after you'd taken the shopping out. Now I have to use a plastic bin liner bag that I can buy on a roll. Its cost us more in our pockets, but the environment is no better off! Add to this the fact that the Saturday Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday come with supplements magazines enclosed in you guessed it, a plastic bag, then you have to wonder where they are coming from!
I am seriously thinking about ditching the Daily Mail.0 -
Bay did you get the Saturday code I messaged you?0

Hi.....
Sat code
89/36/27/15/59/10joe2cool0 -
Yet another Saturday code:-
62 76 85 39 13 05
I'm missing a Sunday code if there is one going spare.
As to the dropping of the 50 point bonus what they did in Scotland after dropping it was to in Feb/Mar to give a 200 point bonus for entering five numbers starting on a Monday for five consecutive weeks. Not all accounts appear to have got this though.0
