Whatever it is it cannot both be legal and stealing at the same time.
(DM doesn't penalise you if you input a number and it has already been used)0

It may be legal but it's stealing really, as some poor genuine buyer will then buy the paper and be unable to redeem the code as it will already have been used!
...at which point they will be prompted to answer a simple question about that day's newspaper and will be given the relevant points automatically when they answer correctly.0

Saturday code available . Pm if interested

Although you are limited to the amount of times you can do this.0

Where do you see any "encouragement"?
I merely pointed out that anyone buying a paper using a number that has already been used won't be penalised - surely the only encouragement is to those worried by DiscoSet's incorrect advice?
(And made the point that the comment from DiscoSet that using a number even though you hadn't paid for a paper cannot be both "legal" and "stealing", though don't see where that is an "encouragement")0

What people have to realise is that if schemes like this are abused then ultimately everyone suffers when they get pulled and no one benefits.
Remember coupons? Until MSE advertised the fact that you could use coupons without buying the product many of us enjoyed regular use of them with no problems.
However, once the world and his wife knew about it and people started paying for all of their shopping with them etc. that all stopped and now coupons are few and far between.
Companies will only put up with so much.0

It was nothing to do with advertising on MSE.
The supermarkets were abusing the manufacturers by wrongly accepting the coupons which were handed in - against the coupon's conditions
You were supposed to buy the product on the coupon!
You can still find (and post) any shopping coupons here:
