No Payments Made now DMP'

Hi
I got an unsecured loan with HSBC with a 3 month payment break before payments due. During in this time we hit rocky ground. Realised we could just about make the payments we had not including the 273! required to pay the loan. We spoke to an advisor at the branch who told us "you're about to topple" and advised us to call and arrange a managed loan. I spoke to this department and they told me, "honestly with your other lending a managed loan won't work for you - an IVA or DMP is your best option". I have now written to them to ask to do this but have missed/avoided some of their calls. Now I am waiting to find out if they are indeed going to accept the offer. I am a little concerned about the possible Fraud aspect. Is it possible they'd use this?

Also I posted earlier about windows and no way to pay, now been told they will accept direct payment - without interst - saving loads! Which is great. Think they realised their sales person midled me!

I think they make a lot of noise but the fact one of there employees (be handy if you took the name or at least the day, time of day you called) advised you of a DMP.

All you can do is see what they say really, companies can take a while to accept things anyway so try not to worry too much - I am sure they have experienced this before with other lenders and also maybe it reflects on there credit checking and loan acceptance.

Sorry I can't help much more - it is a case of wait and see.
