UKCPS invoice

This is my first post on here and I just wanted to thank all the contributors for the information you have provided.
I recently received one of those fake invoices off ukcps for having the cheek to park in a free carpark and shop at the retail outlet the carpark serves!
Apparently if anyone escapes off the carpark to try another shop across the road, (after spending £'s on the retail park) this is deemed a capital offence punishable by way of a £100 contractual fee or £60 if I'm dumb enough to pay it within 14 days!
Anyway after reading your excellent advice waiting for the NTK (windscreen pcn) and using the template letter in post #1 of the newbies section, they have decided to give a "goodwill gesture?" and cancel the invoice. Result!
So again thanks for all the info it is appreciated

How about acknowledging their cancellation (not "thanks"), and also informing them that you feel no goodwill whatsoever towards them, and to stop being so patronising.0

UKCPS keep doing this - it's almost worth doing a car 'leafleting job' in some big car parks in Leeds and other areas where UKPCS frequent, like Centertainment, simply telling people 'if you get a fake PCN from here use these words as your appeal. Keep this in your glovebox in readiness as UKCPS try to catch anyone they can and it's easily appealed, love from the forum posters on moneysaving expert.com parking forum.'
I can't help as I live Darn Sarf...!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've just joined this site and cannot find how to post anything so I'm hoping this funds someone who can help.
I noticed this bread posted by someone with the same concerns so hopefully someone can tell me the outcome.
I went to my car this morning after parking in a retail park legAlly and for only 15 minutes.
As the bays were full and vehicles were parking on the road and not obstructing anyone I parked behind a truck and went into the shop. I was out within 15 minutes maximum.
Didn't notice anything on my car windscreen until I was going down the motorway and put my wipers on as it was raining. I heard a clicking sound and noticed my wiper being shredded by a plastic packet and just as I noticed the letters Ukcps on it, it tore off my windscreen and wiper and disappeared down the motorway.
I have no documentation and do not know what to do.
Will I receive a summons and have to pay £100 if not paid in 14 days?
I'm worrying about it now. Is it legal?0
