Lidl parma ham

Bought the above at Lidl and paid £12.99. Reading the instructions it has got to be eaten within a week of opening. It's only two of us, any idea what to do with it apart from sandwiches!! Thanks

    Goes well with pasta.
On top of a home made pizza.
Wrap it around chicken or cod.
Or just roast some potatoes in olive oil and rosemary then dice up the parma and sprinkle over the top, then put some grated cheese on top of this. Yum Yum

Essentially it can be swapped for recipes where you would ham or bacon

Stuff chicken breasts with filling of your choice and wrap it in parma ham.

    I'd freeze it.

Why does it have to be eaten within a week? Surely (I assume a ham joint) has been hanging and maturing somewhere for a few months. does the ham know it's been longer then a week or can you do the sniff test?

The good old traditional melon and ham?
Salad with ham bits mixed in with it and some nice crusty bread.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

i usually buy a heap of the black forest ham when it is on offer and it is great for cooking with pizza, risotto, quiche or pasta.
