Postcode Confusion..

Can anyone help me with this current issue as seem to be going round in circles with my Mortgage company..
I bought a new build property a number of years ago however the house seems to have two postcodes, the road is split left and right after entry which possibly explains this...
The problem I'm facing is that we have a mortgage application in progress and it has been referred due to a mismatch in postcode when personal documents such as bank statements, utility bills, council tax bill etc all use one postcode whereas the current mortgage with the bank and the land registry documents I have from moving have the other hence causing this continuous circle I'm facing!
I've gone on to the Royal Mail postcode checker and it confirms that the postcode used for personal documents, bank statements has an exact match. Whereas the other postcode does not meaning the land registry / current mortgage is possibly not valid?
My belief is that Royal Mail define the postcodes. ,maybe wrong on this point, so any one know whom I can speak to to clarify what the correct postcode is as I presume I'm going to have to change one set of data to get our mortgage application moving.
Thanks !

Brilliant, thank you! Using this it seems it's just the current mortgage then is under the wrong postcode as rechecked land registry and its showing the same as the utility bills.
So hopefully easy to sort out and can get the application moving again0 -
Sounds like your developer gave you the wrong postcode!0
