You and a friend could enjoy a two-night stay in a four-star hotel with breakfast and return ferry travel also included.
The winner will be able to choose from three commemorative trips:

• The British in the Battle of the Ardennes.

1. This prize draw is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over, except employees of Telegraph Media Group Limited and the Belgian Tourist Office, their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw.
2. Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3. Entries must be submitted via https://www.telegraph.co.uk/belgium and entry is restricted to one per person. Once submitted, entries cannot be amended in any way.
4. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries or entries sent through agencies and third parties will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of despatch will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The winners will be drawn at random from all entries received by the closing date. The winners’ names and counties can be obtained by sending a sae to Belgium Short Break Prize Draw Winners, Telegraph Create, 111 Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1W 0DT between August 4 and September 3, 2014.
5. All entries must be received by midnight on Sunday, August 3, 2014.
6. The winners will be contacted within 14 days of the closing date of the prize draw. Should the Promoter be unable to contact a winner or should a winner be unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
7. The prizes as described are available on the date of publication.
8. One 1st prize winning entrant will win a two night short break for two to Belgium. The winner may choose one from the following three options:
• WW1 in Belgium;
• The British in the Battle of the Ardennes;
• Waterloo – in Wellington’s and Napoleon’s Footprints.
The prize includes return ferry travel for a car and to passengers; and two nights accommodation in a 4-star hotel based on two people sharing a twin or double room on a bed and breakfast basis.
9. The prize does not include travel insurance, food and drink, personal expenditure and incidental costs, other than where stated. It is the responsibility of the prizewinner to ensure they have a valid passport and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for their trip.
10. The prize is valid for travel between September 1, 2014 and 31 August, 2015 and exclusion dates may apply. The prize is subject to availability, non transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
11. One runner-up will win a copy of the book “The Angels of Mons 1914-1918” by Xavier Hanotte and Claude Renard.
12. The winner may be required to participate in publicity.
13. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
14. The Telegraph is responsible for the first part of the promotion, which is the publication and adjudication of the prize draw. All other facilities connected with the provision of the prize are the responsibility of the Belgian Tourist Office.
