Product didn't work

Hello

I bought one of those plug in anti rodent devices. It hasn't worked and I ended up with pest control coming out today. It was only £15 but am wondering whether I could take it back to homebase and get a refund or credit. I have had it and used it for one week.

    I've been Money Tipped!
In my experience Homebase are quite good about giving a refund or credit if you take something back.

If the item is faulty then you are entitled to a refund, repair or replacement - if the unit does what it is supposed to but that doesn't actually do the job then repair/replacement is rather pointless and I'd expect them to offer you a refund (usually Homebase will offer a gift card for the amount you paid).
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!

Homebase were fine and gave me a full refund. No questions asked.
    Thanks.
