in Cutting tax
Hi
could someone help me out please
Just filling out my P11D form for 13/14
Can anyone tell me where (in sections A-N of the P11D benefits table) do I put clothing? This is clothing that has been paid by the business and I now own and I can use the clothing in work and also outside of work
Also if I have taken cash/cheque withdrawals - how do I treat that?
Also solicitors fees I have used for purchase of a new house (is that a loan?

I can only presume that you are completing the P11D as a director of your own company.
Are you on the payroll? What the position of your director's current account? Is it overdrawn?
From the questions that you have asked, I am not sure that you know exactly what should go on a P11D and it is probably not a good idea to complete yourself. There are 10 types of people in the world - those who understand binary and those who do not. :doh:0 -
Yes director
Not overdrawn0 -
Yes director
Not overdrawn
So anything which has been charged to your Director's current account can be ignored. What they are trying to do is tax you on items charged against tax by the company which are really your income, like a car.
So if they hit the company P & L a/c and they're for you, P11D it.
This is a very complex area if your company has an accountant then he/she should be doing this. The only thing that is constant is change.0 -

I thought your payroll services business was as a sole trader, not a limited company
