Thanks - BC. Still confused though - if you have followed the due process correctly, in what way could you have abused it?
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

DFW Nerd # 166 PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS0 -
LOng story it turns out that my account was a savings account Which does not fall within the cca. The big but is i sent them a cca request. They banked the cheque and wrote to me saying that £1 had been accepted towards my debt. The question is if it is a savings account then why did they accept the £1 payment without confirming this ? Clerical error or whatever. Its not my problem. I made a request and the fee has been taken.ONLY COPY WHAT I AM DOING IF YOU ARE 100% SURE AND YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE END RESULT MAY BE.
