Expectations from companies

I've been lucky enough to win two competitions since joining here late April. My first win was with Kallo, I managed to get win their carousel competition and won a hot drinks beaker.. that was the 1st June.
On the 26th June I had an e-mail from Selectspecs.com saying that I was picked at random as a runner up in their Glasses For Life competition. I simply had to reply to the e-mail within 7 days, they would in-turn and me a promo code for a pair of prescription glasses.
I emailed Kallo two wees ago but have still not had a reply. Is there an expectation to deliver for companies within a month of winning a comp, if so where do I stand legally in these matters?
Cheers for any constructive help

Unless otherwise stated within their T&C's the aim should be delivery within 30 days.8.28.3 if more than 30 days after the closing date, the date by which prizewinners will receive their prizes

Be patient - check terms to see timescale for delivery (usually 28 days)
Particularly with instant 'spin to win' type prizes - they usually have large volumes of these to get out so will often wait until all prizes for that month have been won before dispatching them in one go. Imagine the logistics of running these types of comps, and try and cut the company some slack...
Plus, look at it this way - you'll forget about it, and then it'll be a nice surprise when it does turn up! :rotfl:
Re. Kallo - if you still haven't received your prize within another week then try contacting them via social media (FB/Twitter) by DM or a public post, and see if that gets you a response.=^._.^= You will always be lucky if you know how to make friends with strange cats =^._.^=0 -
You're getting all het up about a beaker ?

Just be patient
Incidentally, not sure that James from Select Specs would want his email published on here, even with the spaces... Might be advisable to remove it from your post?
When I won on 1st Dec with a Clipper Teas Spin to Win, my prize arrived mid-January... They seemed to work on the basis of 30 days from the end of the month in which the prize was won0 -

Who's getting 'het up'? As a new user I've asked experienced compers their advice on what is expected from companies who publish competitions. Other than your post the responses were really helpful.
Thanks guys!2014: £300 2015: £50 2016:£50 :j0 -
Hi MaxyG,
You've not been forgotten, I'm awaiting for all entrants to respond before giving out the codes. I've already had to select a number of other runner ups as the originals didn't respond within the 7 days.
If you have responded then I will have noted your name down. (feel free to email me again if you want to make sure - as I don't know who you are by user name!).
Kind regards,
James
