My fixed term ends soon. If I just ask the post office to switch me to a different product eg different mortgage rate will we subject to mmr or by switching to a different deal can we bypass mmr?

The only way I know to 'bypass' MMR is to do a online product transfer, that's if the Post Office offer this service.

I just keep hearing that lenders are lending less and less. We earn between us 48k and will need to remortgage 176k. We aren't excessive spenders0

Its less than 4x income. Assuming you do not have a football team of kids or a ferrarri on finance then I imagine there will be lenders for it.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
