Retirement Age (Choice) Question

Hello there!

I'm opening up a new personal pension fund, and my question is:
Let’s say I put my retirement age as 55 – at 55, can I choose to keep contributing into my pension, until I choose to retire (e.g: Most Likely 65-68), at the same rates/terms as previously - but thus, choosing a lower retirement age to give me more flexibility or will I be forced to stop contributing to the pension at that age?

It's most likely going to be an Avvia or FL Personal Pension.

Thanks!
Thank you all for helping me make my day by saving money!

Usually the only reason for specifying an age is for the profiling of the investments, eg they might start moving the investments into less volatile investments 10 years before your chosen age etc. You'll almost certainly be able to change the age whenever you want.
