Claiming back prepaid mortgage insurance

Hi can anyone advise. I remortgaged my house back in 2002 through a mortgage broker I was sold PPI upfront and paid £1500 which was added to my mortgage I sold that property in 2004. I forgot about this until I found the paper work recently. My question is can i get back those premiums? I contacted the company and i am still insured on that property and have written a letter including proof that I sold the property what are my chances?

Thanks

If you are or have been bankrupt then the money belongs to the OR if you are entitled to it.

If you have never been bankrupt then I would post this question on the mortgage board.
