Anyone recommend a company that fits electric up and over garage doors or who can adapt an existing door? My dad has become frail and could do with an easier way to get his car out of the garage. Would be grateful for any help.

Sorry, don't know how to paste a link. Yes, I can be a dork at times. Most times!0 -
Try a local company called easydoor
They have quite a few testimonials on their website.
Well worth a try.0 -
Garage Door Systems (GDS). They are in Ballymena, not Belfast, but they do supply and fit garage doors all over NI and I believe also in ROI. They have some very good electrically operated doors. They can also motorise existing doors, although mine was too heavy to do that. Their tel. No. Is 028 2565 5555.0

+1 for garage door systems -we had an up and over fitted by them almost 20 years ago and still going strong. I know they can fit electric remote control option as well.0

Another one here for Garage doors in Ballymena. Several family members have their sectional automated doors fitted, never any bother.0
