The OR will phone you. Don't worry. it's just legal speak.

I would ring them & ask if you can go to an office nearer home. If there isn't an office nearer to you than the one on the letter, perhaps they'd be prepared to do a telephone interview instead. If there isn't a nearer office & if they won't agree to a telephone interview (sometimes they have to have a face-to-face interview rather than a telephone one), then you'll have to go to the one on the letter. The OR has to interview you one way or another, & if you don't turn up it could affect your BR - it could be seen as being uncooperative/non-compliant. Can you not get there by public transport, using a daily travelcard of some kind to keep the cost down?

wdiag we all got that in writing. It's one of the formalities of BR. Check your BR order. It's at the bottom sweet and just means the OR will phone etc. etc.

Oh, I thought they meant a separate letter advising of their interview date. :o I wouldn't know what it says on my order as I haven't looked at it in weeks - the case number is engraved on my brain, & that's the only thing I trot out when I need to give the details to anyone. :)
