Post Office Mortgage - new job offer during full application

Options
Hi,

As topic title, both my wife and I both happen to have been offered interviews for new jobs, but now worried what might happen if one or both of us actually get offered it.

We currently have our full application in with the Post Office.

Not a change of career, just new jobs.

Any one with any reference as to whether this is allowed with the post office subject to them having a copy of the contract?

Their online mortgage terms just say "employed (or 3 years accounts if self employed)".

  • We are currently in the middle of an application with the Post Office and we know that my husband will be changing jobs in September. The PO know and aren't bothered, they're only interested in his current employment.

That's good to hear, puts the mind somewhat at rest.

(Stressful business this mortgage application lark!)

    Thank you.
