Where can I buy organic chicken / turkey mince?

I prefer to buy a chicken from the local market (not labelled as organic) than the chicken described as organic by tesco, sainsbury etc.

Sooty is right, some people dont want to pay for those labels.

EU-authorised organic certifying bodies for FOOD in UK, Wales, Scotland and Republic of Ireland. Any definitions they use for organic certification will be those approved by EU.

I was a contributor in the latest EU organic standards and methods consultation.

As Edwardia says - everyone has to comply with the EU Organic Standards. Some certifying bodies chose to use stricter standards but none can drop below the minimum set in law.
