They'll last longer if you keep them in the fridge.

How about Cherry coulis to have over ice-cream?

    Other ideas here
Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

Put fruit into a pan with sugar (about 50g, but you can use more or less depending on how sweet the fruit is and personal preference) and about 100ml water. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 mins until the fruit is soft. Remove and cool a bit.
Use a blender or food processor and whizz to a puree.
If you want it smooth you can strain through a sieve, use the back of a ladle or spoon to rub it through.
Serve warm or chilled, according to taste and what you're serving it with :)
Keeps in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3-4 days, or you can stick some in the freezer (ice cube trays are good, then tip out into a bag/boxand you can take out as much or little as you like.
Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

Wash them, put them in sterilising fluid (30ml to 5l for two minutes) rinse and dry off (might be a bit time consuming) but they'll last for a few weeks then.

They freeze well for baking with, if you pit them, and then they make a DELICIOUS crumble, if you add the crumble topping over the frozen cherries everything cooks at the same time and is all ready together.
